What is In This Body?
In This Body is a 7 week online embodiment support and process group. We meet weekly on Wednesdays and spend part of our time on going over learning materials and the rest of the time on open support and process time - this is where we share our experiences of having a body, of experiencing weight stigma, of dealing with friends and family who are still steeped in diet culture. We commiserate, we share, we connect. Together, we create a space for questioning, sharing, airing, and healing.
Our focus is to explore our relationship with our bodies and food, and to begin planting seeds of healing. Away from diet culture, beauty standards and other things that get in the way of embodiment and joy.
Group Details
When: Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30 PM, starting on September 18 and ending on October 30, 2024.
Where: online via Zoom.
Who: you, your loved ones and friends who are interested in starting or continuing the work of healing relationship with food and body. Folks from all US states and Canada are welcome!
How much: Heart Guided Nutrition accepts most major insurance companies. If you are in Washington state, your insurance may fully cover the cost of this group - check out the Fees & Insurance page for questions you should ask your insurance provider to help determine coverage.
For folks wanting to join from outside the state, cash rate is $630 for the whole group.
Please note that this is a no cancellation group, meaning group members pay for all 7 sessions regardless of attendance. As cancellations are not billed through insurance and are cash pay, the fee for one missed session is $90.
